I have a user who is connected using the mobile client.
In the buddylist of the embedded client the user is seen as such, see image 1
In the buddylist of the standalone client this is not the case, see image 2
The image is a fantastic one - wonderful view - but I don't think it tells us much about the buddylist.

Can you clarify what the difference is. Is this a public group showing different users from different clients? Or a name variation?
The difference is that in the Sametime client embedded in Notes I correctly see in the icon that the user connected via mobile. In the standalone client, I see the user online, but there's no indication he's on a mobile
To be precise, the embedded client is from Notes v9, so is an old ST client version
Thank you for clarifying. This is working as designed on v11 clients. There was discussion around what icon to present with the addition of persistent chat and the look/feel of being available the "same" from multiple different location.
If you would prefer to see the "mobile" icon again, can you submit an enhancement request. I think this would be a good option to disable/enable in future versions.
