We have a docker based installation of Sametime 12.0.2.
LDAP is Domino.
Some users have the problem, that their status is not shown correctly after some time: They are always shown as "online" although they are not logged in to any of their devices (2 notebook, one mobile device).
After restarting the container the status is correct for some time, but then it suddenly gets stuck again, no matter what the user does.
How can we analyse the problem and fix it without restarting the container?
It's the mobile app!
There is a setting "Online bleiben" (German, must be something like "keep online"), e. g. one day.
When the app runs - even in background - the user is considered to be online for this time.
And afaik even if the app is (force) closed, the server considers this person to be online until the set time has elapsed
Hi Thomas, sounded promising, but unfortunately does not help... as Mark stated: This "status" lasts for days and cannot be reset until the server is restarted, no matter what we do.

Just for information. We have exactly the same problem, it is inconsistent and does start with the mobile app, but it doesn't relate to the time out in our case. They are set to 1hour and it will persist for days even with the mobile app logged out until we restart the server.

Yes, this is absolutely our experience here... it lasts days and weeks without being reset until you restart the server
This is an issue that we are aware of and it is addressed in 12.02 FP1 - which is due to release in August.
Thank you for the information. Is there a workaround for this that probably does not need to completely restart sametime server?
