User does not want meeting notice to show in Inbox

One of our users does not want to show the meeting requests show in the inbox. Instead, it was requested that the meeting requests be somehow setup to show in a folder and not the inbox.

While investigating this issue, I noticed on the forum that numbers of customers are not getting the meeting requests sent to the Inbox, instead, the requests only show in all documents.

This might work and I can see where the settings to do this are under tools inside the calendar. This might allow us to get to some type of resolve on the issue. What is really happening is that we have an Exec Admin who keeps telling me the Exec keeps deleting meeting requests while looking at his inbox. (we also have a blackberry environment). She wants the meeting requests to not goto the inbox.

Is there any resolve to this??

Does anyone have any suggestions??

you can set the calendar pref to just “remove” the entry from the Inbox when the user deletes the doc. The setting is on the AutoProcess tab under Automatic Inbox management and choose “Remove from the view/folder without prompting”. With this set, anyone who “deletes” a Notice from the Inbox Notes will just “remove” it from the Inbox but it can still be found in the All Docs view. Or do the other thing you pointed out and just have it not show in the Inbox at all.

Subject: Good tip. Definitely blog worthy!
