I have some problems with document locking and unlocking. I have created a database using MS OFfice template and enabled document locking for this database.
But users have problems locking and unlocking.
Requirement is like this,
User1 creates the document and attaches an excel ss.
User2 may modify or view that excel ss.
but for some reason doc locking and unlocking is not working properly. Some times even of users closes an attachment it says, some one else has open… and some times document is not getting unlocked properly. Users have to have manager access to Unlock document.
Any idea how to fix this problem, and also does any one have a better document locking and unlocking customized procedure?
