When a Delivery Failure messages is sent to external contact, the to: field is empty. Is is real problem as mails with empty to fields are considered as spam by many filtering engines and are dropped.
Is there a way to set a default sender name as Postmaster ?

Remove “Principal” field from the message that you send.

All postmaster messages are becoming dead as Domino cannot route mail to original sender via my Security appliance.error receiving is :Syntax error: Empty email address.:
When I checked header its showing all address (that is form;to)and in from field its showing Postmaster%localdomain@xxxx.com.
Any idea how this address is formed?

I’m not sure which field you see as black (to/from/sender). Can you post an example of the headers you see in one of these non-delivery reports? Is it all external internet recipients that see this, or one particular one?
