Hello to Everyone,I need help and information about upgrading Lotus Domino 6.5 to 6.5.5.
It says incremental update. Do i need to update from 6.5 to 6.5.1 then 6.5.2, 6.5.3, 6.5.4 up to 6.5.5 or I could straight away update from 6.5 to 6.5.5?
Please let me know the best practice.
Also, is there anyone who could provide me with information on how to update? steps and procedure. Thing need to take care of and look out. Thanks.
It depends on the incremental installer. Some say “6.5.x to 6.5.3” - that would upgrade any version between 6.5 and 6.5.3 to 6.5.3. Most though only increment one version at a time, so you would want to go:
6.5 → 6.5.1 → 6.5.2 → 6.5.3 → 6.5.4 → 6.5.5
You could probably skip the fix packs (e.g. 6.5.3FP1) but installing them won’t hurt.
