hello, I want to upgrade Notes Users the Nots 7.x to Lotus Notes Client 8 Standard Edition (not Basic).
I always get the error message: The update is not possible.
By against I notice that we must go first to Notes 8 Basic, then after Notes 8 Standard.
Is there a solution?

Subject: Wrong Install Package?
Upgrading from 70x to 8x Standard is a supported upgrade. It is possible that you are using the wrong install kit (All Client vs. Client Only). Even if only the Notes client is installed on the mahcine, it is possible that you used the All Client install package but only installed the Client.

thank you for your reply I downloaded the client from the Lotus site “IBM Passport Advantage.”
I did the test with:
Notes 8.0.1 - C02RNFR (Standard includes java)
Notes 8.0.2 – (Standard includes java)
Notes 8.5 - C1X37FR
Subject: Resolved
In notes.ini the entry Installtype must be =6.
2 is For All Client.
