Does anyone know if you can upgrade the Domino server from release 8.0.1 up to 8.5. Or do you have to go from 8.0.1 to 8.0.2 and so on?
Thanks!

Subject: There should be no problem
As far as I know there are no issues to preclude an upgrade from 8.0.1 to 8.5. Be sure you also apply the patches for 8.5. There’s a fix for an issue with AdminP that I am aware of. Not sure if anything else has been released. Check the downloads site.
Cheers

Subject: Upgrading, but how?
Could you please tell me how to upgrade. Do I simply install 8.5 over the 8.0.1 or do I need to uninstall the previous version?I am now looking for 3 hours how to do it on the IBM site, but you find only information on how to install it, and the upgrade links seem to go nowhere. Thanks.
Subject: Upgrade
If you have followed the recommended pre-upgrade steps.
Down the server
Run the executable
I prefer to reboot the server at that time as well, since Domino is already down.
Start the server.

Got a URL for the fix packs? I’ve looked around quite a bit and am unable to find anything for 8.5

Here’s the link to the readme. You’ll have to search for the fix itself. I can’t find it right now and have to leave for the day.
