Upgrade connections 5.0 to HCL connections 7 or 8

Hi - we are planning to upgrade IBM Connections 5.0 to HCL connections 7 or 8 and looking for In place upgrade .I dont see any binaries for connections in Flex for sequential upgrade from Connections 5 to 6.5 to 7 or 8.

Could you please suggest if we can upgrade connections 5 directly to connections 7 or 8 and if so ,Could you please provide article or step by step procedure for implementation.

Hi, we migrated one customer directly from 5.5 to 8 few months ago. Install a new empty V8 system side by side, then clone all DB2 databases and run all the datatabase upgrade scripts in chronological order. It is not an officially supported path but it works :-)
