If you upgrade your Domino software, the mail templates are updated. You want to give your users these new templates but have to update the frequency of the OutOfOffice agent i the Mail6 template.
When the design task is runned, it will update all the mail files. The result, at least on my systems, is that enabled OutOfOffice agents is disabled because this is the default in the Mail6 template.
How do you prevent this if you don’t want to open every mail file with an enabled OutOfOffice agent and set the “prohibit design refresh” checkbox?
I would think that the easy way to fix this generally would be to set this “prohibit design refresh” check for the OutOfOffice agent when it is enabled by the user and remove this again when it is disabled. Why don’t some designer at IBM change this?
