Unwanted mail forwarding

This one is probably simple to solve but the sheer amount of settings on the Router/SMTP tab on the server configuration document puzzles me.And I don’t want to risk my well running mail transfers so I better ask here first.

The problem:

Mail from the internet goes to, say peter.pan@data-experts.de.

Our domain is data-experts.de, but Peter does not belong to our company but we have him in our customers directory which integrates in our directory catalog.

So the mail for Peter arrives on our Domino server and is immediately routed by our Domino server to peter.pan@xyz.com instead of being rejected.

I don’t want that to happen, I want these kind of mail rejected, but I don’t know which setting to change.

Any help is much appreciated.

Tom

Subject: unwanted mail forwarding

This is what I did (translated from German Domino Server)Configuration document > Router/SMTP > Controls > Additional Controls (Delivery and transfer) > field “Limit adress search to primary directory” > set to ACTIVE

Don’t know if this is the ultimate solution but it caused the router to stop the unwanted mail-forwarding immediately.

If someone has a better solution i’d be happy to learn about it.
