Unable to send email through O365 - 5.7.64 TenantAttribution; Relay Access Denied [No TLS]

Hi,

I have a Domino server that needs to be able to send emails through an Office 365 connector.

This works if I run Lotusscript code through a client, however if the code is triggered via an agent running on the server (signed by the same user) then the following error appears on the console after it tries to send the email:

Router: Error transferring message 00530A48 via SMTP to ***DOMAIN***.MAIL.PROTECTION.OUTLOOK.COM 550 5.7.64 TenantAttribution; Relay Access Denied [No TLS] [DB1PEPF000509EE.eurprd03.prod.outlook.com 2024-04-09T15:07:18.914Z 08DC53D6175B9E59]

Has anyone come across this issue before?

Many thanks

Russ.

Hello.

I have not encountered that problem, but the following technical document describes the error.

"550 5.7.64 TenantAttribution" when sending mail externally in Microsoft 365

There may be a difference in the MIME generated when sending from the client and when sending with a server agent.

You may want to compare the MIME generated.

Hi thanks for your reply.

I managed to get it working again by undoing a number of changes I had made in the Address Book.

Unfortunately I'm not sure which change originally caused the issue!

Thanks

Russ.
