Attempting to print an email to PDF and Notes 11 either freezes with Adobe, does nothing with PDFCreator, or crashes and closes. Also occasionally get the below message:

I've gotten this to work a few times by going to Print Preview first, but that is not working now either.
I clicked File>Print to attempt to print an email to a PDF. And as stated above, sometimes from the Print Preview it was working but not now.
I am using Windows 10 Enterprise v20H2.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
As per screenshot we believe ou are printing content from web browser and not from Notes client.
Please correct me if wrong.
If print from web browser -Internet Explorer then please follow
-
Close all Internet Explorer windows.
-
Click Start, click All Programs, right-click Internet Explorer and select Run As Administrator.
-
Browse to a website and try test printing a page while running as the Administrator.
My user is not printing from the browser, but rather the notes client.
Betsy,
Betsy,
I am assuming issue is specific to one machine.
As a basic troubleshooting, please perform below steps.
1)Close Notes
2) Navigate to Data directory
Example:-"C:\Program Files (x86)\HCL\Notes\Data\"
3. Delete cache.ndk
4. Rename "workspace" folder to "workspace_old".
5. Start Notes and verify if the problem resolved.
Additionally can you confirm few points regarding this.
1) Is issue also appearing when you use Notes Client in Basic Mode?
2) What is the outcome if you choose below methods to print.
a. CTRL + P
b. Right click > Print...
3) What is your machine default browser?
I am assuming it is IE.
Please change your default browser from IE to something else and see if issue still persists.
Regards,
Amit Sharma
Hi Betsy,
You can try to clear the cache of IE then check if the issue will still persist.
Hope this helps!
