Unable to Launch Domino Designer

Hi Lotus Domino Gurus,

After installing Designer 8.5.1 on windows xp, tried launching but could not succeed. The splash screen appears and continues without any hint.

Please help launch designer.

Subject: Search this forum and the Notes 8.5 for suggestions…

This issue has been reported quite a bit, and different people try different things to address it. Deleting the workspace folder and letting Notes recreate it works for me.
