On a brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 mini with OS 4.2.2 it’s no possible to edit the synced contacts.
On long click on an entry the edit menu isn’t present
Traveler server version 9.0.1.0 Build 201312102121
Traveler client on Android device is version 201312101510
There is a solutions?

Otherwise if above not work this is likely a known device problem. Device manufacturers modify the Android Contacts app to make it better suited for the device experience the manufacturer wants to promote.

but the edit choice in menu list are missing.
I have found a workaround.
Disable Contact sync in IBM Traveler App
Create a new Account using Exchange Active Sync versus Traveler Server and select ONLY contacts (without sync of mail, calendar, todo, etc.)
In this case syncing work fine and i’ll be able to edit / insert / delete contacts.
I think isn’t a problem of samsung-contacts-app but a Traveler integration issue.
