U have mails to be transferred in your Outbox

Hi, I have a problem.When i open Lotus Notes,always iam getting a message that u have “Some Pending Mails to be transsferred in your outbox,Do u want to send them now”.If i say yes,the mail is being transferred to some persons(Clents are included).So i dont want to send mail to them.So how can i find my outbox and delete the pending mails in the outbox.Is it possible?Can anyone help me with this.

Subject: Pending mails in outbox

Hi Ranjit,On your workspace - press ctrl+O - that would bring up the open DB window. Now in the file field, type ‘mail.box’ and click open. That would open up your local mail.box file. Delete the emails if they are not required.

Subject: Mail held in Outbox for long

Is there any way we can get automatic pop up / prompt if any message is help in outbox for more than a minute or so even after replication

Subject: mail.box is not working

I am using Lotes Notes 8.5

after typing CTRL+O , I typed MAIL.BOX .

However I received an error message that showing “File does not exist”

Could you please support?

Subject: Is mail.box in the data directory?

Check the data directory to see if mail.box is there. If not, then you might have Notes configured for POP/SMTP mail and may only have an smtp.box. I’m not completely sure on that, as I haven’t set up a Notes client in that manner in years. I would expect a missing mail.box to be auto-created if you are using Notes mail.
