Type mismatch error after upgrading our Domino Server to 8.5.2

After we updated our servers from 8.5.1 FP4 to 8.5.2 (Servers all running CentOS 5.5) our scheduled server agents (in all applications) making use of libraries all started giving the “Type Mismatch” error.

Downgrading the servers back to 8.5.1 has resolved the problem immediately.

We’ve tried recompiling the LotusScript, but this did not resolve the problem.

We also tried to, in the library, press enter, under options (which forces the library to recompile), save the library and then run a “Recompile LotusScript”. This also did not resolve the problem.

We would really appreciate your input on this as we cannot upgrade our servers until this has been resolved.

Subject: Have you opened a PMR? This sounds potentially bad.

Do your agents work with the OS in any way? Is it possible that some external program they depend on is not installed correctly?

Please keep us informed.

Subject: PMR has been opened & Agents work 100% on 8.5.1 (FPx)

Hi there,

Actually - yes I have opened a PMR, but I’m yet to receive feedback on it.

As I say, the agents all work 100% on Domino 8.5.1 (any fix pack), it just has this problem when updating to 8.5.2.

Kindest Regards

Rayno
