I have two machines on the same domain. I’ve moved 50% of the users to the second machine. The second server needs to route all email to the first server but it comes up with this error:
Router: Unable to open mailbox file WINSTON/CALLAWAYLAW mail.box: Connection denied. The server you connected to has a different name from the one requested.
The first server is ‘winston’
The second server is ‘justice’
BOTH using /Callawaylaw
justice will never receive outside email directly. All incoming email should be routed through winston and replicated over to justice (already setup). Justice and Winston will need to be able to email both.
I would leave mail totally on winston however we are going to seperate off that network soon and justice will be on a different subnet and email will then be routed through a external SMTP host.
Any suggestions would be great…
