I have a column set to display a twisty when the row is expandable. This works fine in the client but the twisty image will not display in the browser. Note that the column is not categorized but response documents do exist below the main document. The title for this main document is displayed in this non-categorized column.
Why would the twisty not show in the browser? I can only guess because the column is not categorized but that should be irrelivant. As long as the row is expandable shouldn’t the twisty show on the browser just as it does on the client?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You’re talking about the default notes twisty? Can you test if categorized columns work, just to make sure the twistie is there?

Hello,
I initially had a custom twisty image set for this non-categorized column. When that did not work I set it to just use the default twisty image. That did not work either.
The custom image is set to be web-compatible. It actually works fine and displays fine in the response column for the view on browser. It is just this non-categorized column that doesn’t seem to want to display it in the browser.
I will categorize the column as you suggest and see if it does anything.

Could it be that you have changed the settings on the Internet Site document? The twistie, and all other default icons, are in the domino/html/icons directory, if I remember correctly. There is a setting in the internet sites document that specifies which directory is to be used for icons.
If that is correct, you should check that all icons are still there.
Another thing to check is that the column is set to display the twistie, and not some other icon.

Hello Peter,
Thanks for the response. The twisty image is available as it displays fine for other categorized columns in the view.
This specific column is set to display the twisty.
