Has anyone successfully synced a treo 650 (Palm OS 5.4) using 4.21 of Easy sync?

William,I have syncronized my Treo 600 with the Contact Address Book of my Client Notes 6.5.3.
You only should choose the corrispondence between the phone fields and the Address Book.
The syncronization with Lotus Notes happens as the proprietary Palm Desktop syncronization.

Our desktop support folks reported that they got two 650’s to sync but then they suddenly stopped sync’ing. I opened a PMR a few weeks ago with IBM and was told a version of EasySync that works with the Palm T5 and TREO 650 will be released this Friday (3/4/05). I don’t have any information on if it will be a new version, a patch, or whatever…

The version currently on the Passport Advantage website does not resolve the problem. I also opened a PMR and was told it was a known issue but there was no solution yet.

I need to check back here more often…We did finally receive the patch to 4.2.2 to allow sync’ing. Unfortunately, I sent it off to a couple of support people and they have given me no feedback on whether it works or not. 
I assume you got the patch as well, and if so, does it work?

I have 4.2.2 and it still does not work. I’m researching mNotes and OneBridge now.

There is a patch for EasySync 4.22 that allows sync with Treo 650. If the link below doesn’t work, search support.lotus.com for Treo 650. This patch fixed my issue.

I just have the 4.2, may I upgrade it to the 4.2.2 ver. and use the patch ? How should I do ?

Paul, do you know if anything was posted? I see the posted date for EasySynch 4.2.2 was updated, but the actual download page still shows a date in April 2004. I’m going to give it a try and see if it works, I’ll post here afterwards.

Where can I download 4.2? I have 4.1, and downloaded the patch, but it is for 4.2 and I’ve not located a site to download it from. Any help would be appreciated.Ray

A far better solution than EasySync (which requires cradling your Treo in order to sync) would be to take a look at any of the various vendors who offer products with server-side sync capability.

All of these sync products have server-based options, which is what you really want if you want to sync your Treo wirelessly.
