I have a problem with only a few users on our server.
When they send mail to external email-addresses through their mobile devices, or through the web based-portal (iNotes), all scandinavian characters end up scrambled.
Example:
Ser mina mail ut sॠdär skumma?! Med à ¥ ä ö? I morgon är jag pÃ¥ svt kl 13, sen cyklar jag t Zinken vid 14-15 nÃ¥ngÃ¥ng. Dॠkanske? Skickat frÃ¥n Lotus Traveler
Of course this only happens when they send mail to external addresses, within the company, everything looks fine.
What baffles me is that these users have the same settings as everyone else (standardized installation).
Is there anything I can do to fix this for these particular users, ie: change any settings directly in their mail-file or client to make sure their emails always is sent with the right character encoding?
Edit: I should add that the characters they are trying to send are: Å, Ä, Ö.
