We just recently upgraded to Domino 8.0.1 and installed Lotus Traveler. We’ve down loaded the cab files to our devices and so far all is working well. My question is when do the cab files get updated and is there a way to automate or push the upgraded cab files to the devices?

The CAB files get updated for APAR fixes (obtained through support) or maintenance releases of Traveler.Currently, there is no way to push down updated cab files. The best way now is probably to update the cab files on the server web page (if you selected that server install option - it’s on by default), send an email to the users saying it is available, and having the user download and install the updated cab file. There are many variations possible - this is just one. Having a way to push down cab updates is being considered as a future enhancement to Traveler.
