We have try different setting on the soft delete, but the trash still empty the contents before the time expires. The document properties on the server and local reflect the correct hours we have set.
Does anyone has a similar problem?

Yes, we’re seeing 48 hours no matter what time is specified in the “soft delete expire time in hours” - database property or the mail file users mail/preferences/basics “soft delete expire time in hours” - haven’t found a way yet to make it work other than 48 hours - yet.
