Is this normal, initially ,after opening database, will see message, view is being updated, than, I can work with other database while waiting. But towards the end of view update, both cleint and designer will be locked, till the final view being completed. Or is it my view design problem?
any help is appreciated.

There apparently is some stuff the client will not do in the background, but ordinarily it shouldn’t take very long. Search in here for view and performance and see whether there are some things in there you need to look at. Readers fields in particular might be an issue in the case you describe.
