I writing of Turkey. I have a TOSHIBA SATL.A20-S259 model notebook.I installed the lotus notes R6.02. I looked modems log .01.04.2004 04:08:29 COM3: OK

But I have not accessed to the lotus notes server with modem. But Portege toshiba have connected to lotus server.

make sure you have the right modem selected in notes as well as the right driver for the modem in your operating system. Can you use it to connect to an ISP? Rule out a problem with you modem or its set up in your operating system first. Then once you are sure its is working aside from notes, then you can troubleshoot it easier in notes.

You must have in the Server modem script the same connect string “CONNECT 33600 V42” as your modem want to connect. If this is not possible you can try to change your local modem script file (backup befor).
