@Today in view selection..?

Hi we have a view on which we show only the documents whose created date is today date.so we used (@Today=@Created) it works fine but problem is it always rebuilt the view index means show always view refresh indicator.so i tried to resolve it using @TextoTime(“Today”).but it is not working fine.have anyone any idea…?

It always does that. @today is reevaluated every time the view is opened. You could create a folder that is filled (and emptied) by an agent ?

Well, it’s a common “error” for many newbies coding Notes <:), but the solution is simple.

Make an agent, that stamp the current date on each document every night (after midnight) and use that value in your formula instead of the @Now or @Today function. It works faster, and is just a better way of doing it!

There are many workarounds or solutions, each has pros/cons. There are some technotes and articles on the subject. Search for “view and performance and today” and you should get appropriate hits.
