To create a Notes Calendar Appointment from SAP Data---Please help

Hi All,

I am new to SAP and one of my clients has asked me if it is possible and if possible how could you convert SAP Data (i.e Employee vacation Data and once the user accepts his vacation , it should automatically create an Appointment in user’s Notes mail File.)

I know you need an SAP Connector to connect Lotus Notes to SAP ,and once it is connected , how do I proceed? . The employee creates a vacation request in SAP and once he accepts the Request it should somehow create a notes calendar appointment in Employee’s Notes mail file.

If someone has done , could you throw some light. How do I proceed?

Couple of suggestions:

If you want Notes to pull in data from SAP, I’d post in the Enterprise forum since that’s where things like this get discussed.

If you want SAP to do the transaction, you’ll need to get with some SAP experts and figure out that bit.

There is code floating around (here, 4/5 forum, Sandbox, OpenNTF, etc) that describes how to build calendar docs using LS so once you figure out who’s going to do what, you can find some pretty good sample code by searching.

HTH and when you get something working, be sure to post the results.
