To access current logged in User name on page

I need to capture user name on page and use it on action button. I have inserted computed text having value “@Name([CN];@UserName)”.On preview it shows user name. I want to use this user name on action button .How can I access this user name? I am new to java script and coding for web enabled domino.

You have two options.

  1. Create a button in html and use computed text for the value (look at input type=button)

  2. Create a notes action and in the Label property use your @Username function.

Ben,Thanks for reply.I am going to try this solution but I think this might not help becuase I am already able to display User Name through computed text,Whereas I need to capture it and use it javascript code.This javascript code is written on hotspot button, which is on main page.

Please assist.
