Title for a view

Hi

I have to put a title on a view which will be printed! how do i do that?

Are you talking Notes client? Each user can set headers and footers for a database or document. In properties for the database, click the printer tab and put something in header/footer. My preference is to use:

| &W |

for the header (i.e. the window title centered), and

&D &T | &P

for the footer (date+time to the left, page number to the right)

Of course, the user can use anything they want instead of the above. The obvious question now is “Can you programmatically control the user’s setting for this?”

I don’t know, but I bet there is an API call that would do it.

Thanks very much Doug. i tried ur options…

i have many views as reports to the user on the client, now when they print the ‘selected view’ the titles of the report should come like ‘emp. list for the yr…’ if u give database header in db properties it comes in the print of ‘selected view option’ but i dont want window tiltle… can it be customised at a click of action button or so… or any other option…
