Time picker component - upgraded NFI 3.0 required

Hi,

I am referring to the time picker component that was used in my project. The component was originally downloaded from below link

https://marketplace.kony.com/items/time-picker

After upgrading to Xcode 13, the time picker framework has failed during the App distribute process with the following message

Although Visualizer have attempted to upgrade the Time Picker NFI to V3.0, it has failed to do so as below.

We are still on Quantum Visualizer V9.2.34. Could someone advise or provide the updated NFI 3.0 for this component?

Hi Alex,

The component depends on a custom 2.0 NFI which is why the automatic conversion fails. Furthermore, we only support components updated to HCL marketplace (for Iris), and not the Kony/Temenos marketplace.

The HCL counterpart is https://marketplace.hclvoltmx.com/items/time-picker (for Iris). Please note that the current version on HCL marketplace is also NFI 2.0. We will check internally if the Iris time-picker component can be upgraded to NFI 3.0. You can utilize the NFI .zip from the Iris version of the time picker in the Kony version from your project if the conversion is possible and once it is done.

We will update you on the same.

Another question, how do we use the Iris component in Quantum Visualizer?

Hi Alex,

It is not possible to use the Iris component as-in in Quantum Visualizer. It is possible, however, to pull certain individual assets and move them to the Quantum version.

In this case you can extract the NFI zip from the Iris component zip and inject it into the Quantum component zip and then import that.

Alternatively, you can delete the 2.0 NFI zip from the Quantum component and import the component into Quantum, followed by importing the 3.0 NFI zip extracted from the Iris component into Quantum separately.

We are currently investigating if conversion of this NFI is possible.
