Time error in Notes mail since change to British Summer Time

n the UK, the time changed to British Summer Time on Sat March 27th. (1 hour ahead)

The time was updated on the server, the O/S and on the PC, to the correct BST. However emails sent via mail in Notes 6.5 reflect an incorrect time. (1 hour ahead of BST). It’s like the time has jumped 2 hours ahead if you ignore the change due to BST.

Does anyone have any idea how to change the time, so that sent mail will reflect the correct time.

Much appreciated.

Regards

EG

Are you allowing Domino to use OS time settings? That’s a server doc setting.

Doug,

As far as I can see on the serverdocment you do not have the possebillity to change the setting.

It’s more of an statement then a preference. In the older versions of notes you are allowed/ have the option to select observe Daylight savings time.

See here for a free tool that you can use to check time settings in Notes and Domino. If you check very carefully and get all the settings right but there is still a problem, reply with details of an actual example, specifying what you see in the memo and in its document properties.

Same problem with French time. I have found this solution :

  • Found and delete old ZONE_SET setting in notes.ini (server)

  • Use the same DSTLaw setting in the server notes.ini as in the client notes.ini

  • Restart the server.

No more time problem after.

Hope it helps…
