Tika at MacOS Notes Client not present/working?

Hello Community,

frequently I get following warning:

"Datei '/Applications/HCL Notes.app/Contents/MacOS/tika-server.jar' ist nicht vorhanden"

(like: "File '/Applications/HCL Notes.app/Contents/MacOS/tika-server.jar' is not present")

Tika is used for indexing attachments also at the Notes client. I took a look into /Applications/HCL Notes.app/Contents/MacOS/ of my 14.0.0. FP2 Client and yes, the tika-server.jar is not present for real.

Anybody else with this issue?

I never validated the local full-text indexing this deep, but on this, it can not work.

Hi Mike,

Good day.
This is already reported with SPR#MKINBLBR9L, for the /tika-server.jar' error.
Make sure that tika-server.jar is installed in the program directory only.

Thank you for the reply and the hint to SPR#MKINBLBR9L, but i can not find it.

I searched on the Mac locally and can make sure the tika-server.jar is NOT installed in the program directory with the V14 Notes Client.

Hello Ren,

We got V14.5, there is still no tika-server.jar present.

Is there a new method or is the issue still open?
