I have problems using this forum, I answer lots of posts every day but it is almost impossible to keep track on answers to my posts.
My guess is that there is a lot questions lying around that should have been answered if I got an email or other indications that my post recieved an answer.

Subject: Notification of Replies
I agree with the idea.
I’d like to be able to get an email notification when someone updates a topic I’ve created and/or contributed to.
Tracking these notifications should be done on a topic by topic basis so you can “unsubscribe” to notifications on individual topics when no longer needed.
I’m not making these ideas up–open source forum software has done this sort of thing for years (e.g.: forums.earthriders.com – I think they’re running phbBB).

In the the right panel of the page you will find two views. Show all my posts, and Show all my main topics.
They will take you to all your responses.

Those views does not show me new post to my topics, they show all replies to my posts which is not what I need.
I want a list of new replies to my topics since last visit or since a specified date. and get an email notification.

As said: The option exists in the R4-Forum, but not in R7 nor R8. Additionally the ‘profile’-option also had been removed: In the past it was possible to add up to 10 (too few) Topics to be kept updated… Hope it will be implemented in the R8-Forum too…

I agree that was a nice feature, but it was limited to certain amount of topics so if they do some imporvements I hope they do something better then that.
