This database has local access protection and you are not authorized to access it locally
I am getting this message while opening database on server I have set replica on local but I think i.e. not problem because I have not encrypted it. Also I am able to open some documents but I am unable to open documents in one view and also I am unable to open that form in designer also. I am getting above messave. I am able to open other forms in designer…

Hi Mahadev,When you created the local replica it got encrypted by default. Check the Encryption Settings on the local replica to verify this (Database > Properties > Encryption Settings > Locally encrypt this database using). If it is encrypted then you will need to access it using the ID that encrypted it originally.

This solves problem…
But when I change to another id ( long back I used for replication) I am able to open document, from this Id I checked replication setting it is off means Do not locally encrypt database…
But after switching another ID I am unable to open document, I also tried by deleting replica and creating new one but it dosen’t solve problem. any help please…

After you change the encryption settings, you need to compact the database to remove the encryption.
Also, if this is a local replica and the ids you are using access the database through group entries in the ACL, the local replica uses a hidden user-specific ACL entry to grant access levels and roles – and that will only work for the user that created the replica. A second id may e added if that id is used to access the server replica and replicate locally.

just u give default as manager access and in advanced tab of acl you uncheck the enforce consistant of accesscontrol list across all replicas…

Have you checked the ACL for this database? It sounds like both users (IDs’) have access to this database, either explicitly or nested in a Group.
