Third-party Schedulers - Any Out There?

Having been a Notes/Domino developer for 8 years now I can’t believe that I have to ask this… but apparently the decision has been made at my company that the Notes room/resource scheduler isn’t good enough. And for some reason they won’t let us customize it or develop a new one ourselves.

I was told, “Come on, there must be something already out there.”

So does anyone know of a decent resource scheduling product out there? To schedule conference rooms and the like?
