@Lisv Wvllvce yes, once I disabled the "Placeholder" Skin for the text box then everything went back to normal. Supposedly if you setup the placeholder skin then it will work too, but I don't need the Placeholder functionality.
Yes, you can achieve this by adding border to textbox placeholder in skin tab.
