The IP address of the Domino server has changed and I can not access it from my client!

Hello,The IP address of the Domino server has changed and now I can not access the server from my Notes Client.

I can ping the new server from my machine OK. But what do I need to do to open notes applications on the server?

I’ve found the problem. I needed to put the new ip address into the proxy settings in Internet options. It all works fine now.Thanks again.

Hi,

You can type the IP address in the File|Database|Open dialog. This will create a new connection document in your personal NAB that maps the IP address to the Notes server name.

Thanks Andrew, I did this and can now access the server from my notes clients.However, I still can’t get access to the server web apps from a browser. Even when I put the new ip address into the address bar. Any ideas why that is?

Didn’t you say something about proxy settings in Notes? Your browser has these too so you may want to change them in the browser.
