While opening server copy iam getting "The Database cannot be opened due to a consistency check of it is needed"Fixup, updall and compact tried in server.
Is there any way to bring back Database Online.While running fixup commands getting a message RRv bucket is corrupted. fixup failed.

Execute a fixup -f against the database then a compact -c -i. If that fails then you’re going to have to restore it from tape or pull a new replica from a good one. Sorry.

Subject: Is it a IBM Lotus BUG
Is it a bug in lotus notes. Most of the people are facing this issue in Lotus 8 and for this DB needs to be recreated is a waste of time. Do we have any scripts or agents which can resolve the issue.
Subject: Corruption issues
RRV bucket is where the NSF keeps a map of where the documents are. Kind of like a FAT table for a hard drive. If the damage cannot be fixed the recommendation is to restore from backup.
You can also try pulling a new replica of the database and see if that helps.
As to the cause. Corruption only tells you what is corrupted. Not what events caused it. If it is happening with frequency with you then you should try and detail what happens around the time of the corruption occurred.
If you can get a reproducible scenario then it can be diagnosed.
