I have to renew my Symantec Corporate for anti-virus and anti-spam for Lotus Notes Domino Server…It is the best one and the good one…?

You can look into Trend Micro antivirus. Their software does scan Domino incoming mail and is pretty decent. It is what the admins use here.

Wow, far reaching question. All products are pretty good but I would go with an email verification appliance like IronMail to stop spam from getting in and it does white list.

I think antivirus and antispam on one server with email is a lot to ask especially when spam can be stopped at the entry level.

Hi Lisa, we were using Symantec’s content filtering for Spam. We actually turned that off and went with a new product from INVCS (Spam Sifter). It has worked wonderfully. Trend Micro used a content filter just like Symantec so you have to keep updating it. I would suggest you contact them at http://www.invcs.com/spamsifter Last I heard they were running a trade-up special in which they will save you the cost of your existing product. Tell them Theo Drum referred you from the YWCA. I believe they will get you a 30 day trial and they just added support for iSeries

My company’s had excellent experience with Symantec Corp Edition and Symantec for Domino after switching over from I believe what used to be NAI (now McAfee) back in '97. We’re a 14k seat shop and have had very few mishaps involving product instability, late definition updates (in response to a threat) etc. I’ve also found their support to be pretty decent, too.

On the spam front, look into IronPort. Top-notch anti-spam capabilities with integrated Sophos A/V, and fully customizable for just about any Mail environment topology I could imagine.
