TextArea binding with service request parameter causes error

I am trying to pass an input text from Iris's textarea to Foundry's integration service's payload but it gives error during execution: "Backend request failed for service POST with HTTP status code 400". PFA image of the binding.

However, if I hardcode the request parameter via code snippet then the execution succeeds. For example,

POST_inputparam["content"] = "what should I do?";

Below is the Request Template where "$content" is the placeholder that needs to be changed by the request input parameter "content" of type string and the Encode checkbox is unticked.

Hi Bibin,

Your low code action-script mapping from Iris seems correct. However, you can examine the generated JS code from the action-script. Can you get the generated action-script code and share? That may help to spot the error. At the top right of a low-code action script window, you will see Diagram View, Design View, and Code View. Click on Code View to see the generated Javascript code. Note the code line where your txtInput.text is mapped to your service content parameter.

function INVOKE_SERVICE_i614a71399714b1d8881c4e3d5012f70_Callback(status, POST) {

if (POST_inputparam == undefined) {
var POST_inputparam = {};
}
POST_inputparam["serviceID"] = "ChatGPTAPI$POST";
POST_inputparam["content"] = self.view.txtInput.text;
var POST_httpheaders = {};
POST_inputparam["httpheaders"] = POST_httpheaders;
var POST_httpconfigs = {};
POST_inputparam["httpconfig"] = POST_httpconfigs;
ChatGPTAPI$POST = mfintegrationsecureinvokerasync(POST_inputparam, "ChatGPTAPI", "POST", INVOKE_SERVICE_i614a71399714b1d8881c4e3d5012f70_Callback);
}

I have only pasted the relevant code which is highlighted.

Is there a way to trace the service request via Foundry or log?

To answer the question about Logs specifically, Foundry allows you to customize and access logs:

https://opensource.hcltechsw.com/volt-mx-docs/95/docs/documentation/Foundry/vmf_integrationservice_admin_console_userguide/Content/Logs.html

But this is not part of the Trial offering.

Though not the exact use-case here, you can use the "Save and Fetch Response" option from your Operations details view and monitor input, backend response, output response, stacktrace etc from the Test panel. These requests are originated in your Foundry however, and cannot really be used to seamlessly test data-pipelines originating from app/Iris.

Just an update, I had used a textarea control. Alerting the textarea's text property crashed Volt MX Preview app.

So, I replaced textarea with textbox and now it is giving proper response.
