I’m hoping someone may have seen this and will be able to shed some light on the subject.
We have a user who received a new laptop. We have transferred all his pertinent Notes files to the new laptop. But, when he accesses a couple of databases that have frames, the text within the frame is pushed together. Some of the words are cut in half and some don’t appear at all. The links are still there and they are active, but the text is either garbled or missing so you don’t know what you’re clicking on. These databases were fine on the old laptop.
I thought it might be a resolution setting on the new machine. So I set the resolution down to that of the old laptop, but that didn’t work. I have also, recreated the bookmark.nsf, headlines.nsf, desktop6.ndk and the notes.ini. I have also upgraded the client to 6.5.3, but nothing so far has corrected the problem. Any ideas? Gremlins maybe?
