I have recently installed notes 8.5 server beta on Windows 2003 to do some testing. This server is clustered with 4 other servers running on AIX, one is 6.02 and the others are 7.02.
A number of the templates on the test server are getting an error “file truncated - file may have been damaged”
It seems to be only templates that have this problem. All of them are limited to a max size of 1gb, the same as on the other servers. I can’t see the properties of these on the test server as they come up blank.
Can anyone offer any advice please?
Subject: do not use BETA and different versions in a cluster
also ibm advised us not to use different domino versions in a cluster. it might work and i also saw documents that came from ibm which said it’s ok to cluster 6 & 7, but i would NEVER cluster a beta version with my running environment!
Subject: Truncated Error, test server isn’t clustered
The server hasn’t actually been clustered, I thought we had clustered it but after your post I checked and it hasn’t been. We have three clustered servers that are all 7.0.1. Sorry for the mixup, still a bit new to Notes!
