Template/Client requirements with Domino 6.5

Hello everyone, I’m having trouble coming across the correct documentation.

We’re preparing to upgrade to Domino 6.5. We’re currently at 6.0.1CF3.

The clients are all on software version 6.0.3, but the template versions vary. It’s probably a 50/50 mix between StdR50Mail and iNotes5. Just a handful of us are on iNotes60.

If the server is upgraded to 6.5, will I have any problems at the client level with a software version of 6.0.3 and templates still at R5? I understand I won’t have access to the new 6.5 features until everyone is upgraded, but that will be a couple of months down the road.

Subject: Template/Client requirements with Domino 6.5

You can always use templates of older version Notes Clients with newer version Notes Clients, the other way around you might get problems, that some design elements/features/etc are not available.
