Tell amgr quit

ALL ,

I have a problem that some time when we are running agents they go to infinite loop . so we want to kill that loop. we run tell amgr quit. But it is not working. so we have to restart the server. can some one help me to sort this without restarting .

Subject: tell amgr quit

instead of stopping the agent manager how about just trying to stop the specific agent?

tell amgr cancel “dbname.nsf” ‘agent’
