I have a table right at the top of a form, and it houses the main information about the doc.
It is four columns wide, and set to “fit with margins”. I can get it to look great, with the columns being the right width, and all is good.
Then, I have to go work on the form, and the column widths get all messed up, mainly because of the panes that come up in the designer. The bookmark pane on the left, and the action bar pane on the right…well, because they are there, they get my leftmost two columns to scrunch up, and I have to reset them before I can save the form and have it right.
I want the table to fit to margins to handle different size screens, etc., rather than having hard-coded widths.
Anybody got a suggestion on what I can do to keep this from happening?
Oh, more information…I have the first row of the table merged from left to right as a header row. I don’t know if this fact contributes to the issue or not.
Thanks.
