does anybody know a syncronize tool for the iPod on Windows that could syncronize notes calendar entries?

The iPod supports vCard 3.0 and iCal/vCalendar format. There are some products to syncronize iPod with iCal (Calendar application for macintosh) or Outlook. So far, I have not found any product that is capable to synconice with Notes.

I can export my notes contacts from the personal names.nsf to a file using vCard 3.0 format. This file can be placed into the contacts folder on the iPod and you have all your notes contacts on the iPod. That is pretty cool.

Concerning the calendering iPod “understands” the iCal/vCalendar format. If you copy and paste a notes calendar entry into a text file, you will get an vCalendar file. This file could be transfered to the iPod and you should be able to see the calendar entry… I have to do some more testing on that topic.

Any tipps will be very appreciated.

Based on that information I am positive to write an export routine for the notes calendar by myself. I keep you posted.

Any luck with writing an export routine? I wait with bated breath.

POPS-iCal purports to do the same thing, but Kissworks appears to be defunct; I’ve received no response to the various communications I’ve sent over the last month. There appears to be nothing else out there that will do this for Notes 6.5 calendars.

yes I wrote the export routine and I haven been testing for quite some time. Now it works fine. I wrote a little manual and submitted it to the sandbox yesterday. It is going to be reviewed by the ibm sandbox team and should be available there pretty soon. Keep searching for “Notes2iPod” or download it from another (german) notes forum:
