Notes Client 6.5.3/Domino Server 6.5.3/Intellisync 5.0/Palm Tungsten E.
Sync’ing only Dates, Addressbook and Memos.
We are using a custom mail template based on the StdR6 mail template and the iNotes6 template. When we sync Dates, it never finishes syncing. It can sync Dates for hours and never finish. I have run fixup, updall, object collect and compact. I have set Intellisync to Import only. I have tried syncing from a local copy rather than the server copy of the mailfile. Same result. Intellisync says they only support use with the StdR6 mail template.
What happens if my server mailfile uses the iNotes6 template or the custom template and the local mailfile is set to StdR6? I’d likely need to disable “Inherit design from master template”.

I don’t know intellisync, so I just guess this should work. But you can replicate DATA only, no design between client & server as in the following picture:
just remove the “V” on both fields.

I’m a loser. I meant T5, not Tungsten E. Sorry! FWIW, I corrected by post below.
Have you checked with Intellisync support? HotSync was changed with the T5 and TREO 650 which “broke” EasySync until IBM released a patch compatible with EasySync 4.2.2. I’m wondering if you are experiencing the same issue with Intellisync. I could be wrong (my notes are at work), but I believe HotSync went from 6.0 to 6.1 (or something) with the two devices mentioned above.
Our support group did report isolated success at getting EasySync 4.2.2 to work without the patch, but no consistant results and the devices would stop sync’ing for no reason. Our templates are also customized so unless you have done something really wild, I doubt that is the issue.
