Syncing External Calendars with IBM Verse

Hello.

I have an external calendar feed that I sync to my Android phone, via a third party app.

The calendar appointments go into a local Calendar on my phone, which I then display in my Notes calendar.

However, it seems the calendar entries for the external feed will only appear in my calendar, once I perform a manual sync or i put a diary entry in my Notes calendar, whereby a real time sync occurs.

Does anyone know if there is a specific time period before the appointments appear, or am I forced with having to sync manually each time ?

Many thanks.

I too have an Android phone. I use google calendar. Many of the items I have to deal with (ie son’s football team, etc) all use google calendars. That seems to sync rather nicely with my Notes calendar. On occasion I do have to force a sync.

The Calendar feed I am using is not the issue. It is the time that Verse is taking to update the Appointments in the Calendar that is the problem.

I have an app from the Play store that downloads the Calendar appointments every 30 mins and places them in a local calendar.

On my Google Calendar, the appointments appear as soon as the 30 min sync takes place.

However, the appointments do not appear at the same time in Verse, unless you perform a manual Calendar sync.

Hence my question, as to how long it takes before the Appointments appear in Verse ?

In the alternative, is there a setting on the Traveler Server that can force Verse to poll for new Calendar appointments more frequently ?
