In the help file on Domino it says that you should be able to set the “Allow users to change Internet password over HTTP”. This choice is nowhere to be found in the security settings document.
Can anyone tell me where i can find it? And is that “step” necessary to make the synchronization between the notes password and the internet password work?

This is in the Security Settings policy document. There are two fields in this doc that work together here.
“Allow users to change Internet password over HTTP” does the redirect over to $$ChangePasswordForm in domcfg.nsf (don’t ask me how).
“Update Internet Password when Notes Client Password Changes” adds an extra password change adminp request for the internet password when a user changes their Notes ID password (which generates its own adminp request).

In that version I believe the setting is found on the Config doc that applies to your web server. On the Domino Web Access tab under the Other Settings section “Modification of internet password”. I think that’s what you’re looking for.
