Hallo,
most of our chief officers use the Nokia N97 to synchronize with the lotus notes traveler.
On one of them we habe periodically following issue:
It works quiet normally but each 4 or 5 days the user gets on the phone the error: “initial sync is not completed”.
After that the traveler synchronizes no more.
We try following :
On the server
-
reset the synchronisation on the server (tell traveler reset)
-
debug the connection (tell traveler debug)
in the log files there are no errors.
on the phone:
-
we check the connection ports (ok)
-
we reinitialize the traveler configuration
-
we start the syncronisation again but without success.
The only move to solve this issue, is to uninstall the traveler from the phone and reinstall it. After that we can configure the phone from scratch and it works again, just until the next synchronisation error occurs.
We have many N97 with the same communication provider and only this one has the problem.
Is there another possibility to solve the problem, without traveler reinstall ?
